How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the app. Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
How do I control who sees my location?
Go to Settings → Privacy → Location Visibility. You can set it to Hidden, Friends Only, or Visible to All. You can also turn off location sharing entirely at any time.
Why does RaveMate need background location access?
Background location is used to update your position for friends during events when the app is in the background. You can disable background location in your device settings at any time — the app will still work, but your location may not update as frequently.
How do I share a ticket with a friend?
Open the ticket in the app, tap the Share button, and select the friend you want to share it with. They will receive a notification with the ticket details.
How does offline mode work?
Before heading to a festival, open the app and let it sync. RaveMate caches your tickets, friend profiles, and messages locally. Download maps for your event area under Settings → Offline Maps.
How do I report a user or inappropriate content?
Tap on the user's profile or the content you want to report, then tap the three-dot menu (⋯) and select Report. Our team reviews reports and takes appropriate action.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email address. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
How do I stop receiving push notifications?
Go to your device Settings → Notifications → RaveMate and turn off Allow Notifications. You can also manage specific notification types inside the app under Settings → Notifications.
